Elizabeth Waddington is a Permaculture Garden Designer, Sustainability Consultant and Professional Writer, working as an advocate for positive change.
Elizabeth is fully self-sustainable and grows her own forest garden on a one-third acre of land which includes polyculture beds, a wildlife pond, mature fruit orchard and woodland.
Experience
Elizabeth has written various e-books on Permaculture and organic gardening, including ‘How To Increase Yield (Without Getting A Bigger Polytunnel)’, ‘Useful & Beautiful: Design for a Permaculture Home’ and ‘My Permaculture Farm’.
She has designed gardens for hundreds of individuals, organisations and community gardens – including work with the Humanus Group and an NGO to create 100 community gardens in the Maldives.
Elizabeth has also designed gardens as far afield as the Dominican Republic and Somalia – as well as many projects closer to home in her native Scotland.
Elizabeth spoke at the 2018 Scottish Permaculture Gathering on the topic of ‘Reducing Plastic Use’.
