Delivery, tracking and returns

Our aim is always to charge you the minimum possible amount to ensure your order reaches you in a satisfactory condition.

Fast, reliable delivery

Order Processing

Expect an email within 60 minutes to confirm your order. 

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of them being received. You will receive email confirmation once your order has been shipped.

UK and International Delivery

Due to plant-health regulations, we currently deliver to GB mainland only.

At this time we are unable to ship to Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man – or internationally outside of the United Kingdom.

Delivery Services and Shipping Costs

Standard Delivery

  • Free on all orders over £85 in value; £8.99 fee for order totalling under £85. 
  • Delivery typically takes 2-3 days from dispatch.
  • Additional charges may apply for deliveries to non-mainland areas such as the Scottish Highlands. These charges will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Express Delivery 

  • £9.99 fee for all orders requiring Express Delivery.
  • Orders prioritised for urgent delivery using Next Day courier options – delivery typically takes 1-2 days from dispatch.
  • Order before 6am Mon-Thu to ensure prompt next day delivery.
  • Please note that delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, but we will always use the fastest possible courier option where Express Delivery has been selected.

For calculated shipping rates: shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Order Collection

As we are an online-only retailer, our premises are not open to the general public.

We do not offer in-store collection and our fulfilment facilities are not open to the public.

Order Tracking and History

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be sent to the email address used during your purchase.

You can also track your order history and information in your account on our website. Access this area by clicking the customer icon in the top right menu or by navigating to ‘Your Account’ in our website footer.

Returns

General returns

Due to the nature of live plants, returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

To initiate a return please email us at: orders@horticulture.co.uk

Our returns window is 14 days from your delivery date.

Returns must be approved in advance and items should be returned in their original condition and packaging.

Authorised returns have a further 14 days to return the item in its original condition and packaging.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of our receipt of the returned item. These will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

We reserve the right to issue partial refunds for items returned in a used, damaged or incomplete condition.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. 

Goods damaged in transit

Please be sure to inspect your order carefully on receipt from the courier.

In the unfortunate case that your package has arrived significantly damaged:

  1. Sign the delivery note as ‘damaged’
  2. Refuse the order and request that the courier returns it to us
  3. Photograph any damage and email us within 24 hours at orders@horticulture.co.uk – attaching your photographic evidence 

Our team will then arrange a replacement order or refund as appropriate.
