Achillea millefolium 'Cerise Queen' is a relatively low-growing yarrow variety great for groundcover in pollinator-friendly gardens. It has vibrant fuschia-pink and white flowers that bloom over a long season from summer into autumn.

Achillea mill. 'Cerise Queen' (Yarrow 'Cerise Queen')

Yarrow cultivar 'Cerise queen', as the name suggests, has vibrant deep pink flowers with white at their centres. It is very vigorous and quickly grows to create dense mats of foliage that can be wonderful for wildlife-friendly spaces.

Like other yarrows, this plant likes a sunny, open position with good airflow in moist but free-draining soil. Since it grows to around 60cm with a spread of around 40-50cm, it can also work well in containers as long as the drainage is good and excess water can drain away freely from holes at the base.

This is a plant that is resilient to a range of different conditions, as long as the soil is not too heavy and does not become waterlogged. It can work well in many different types of garden.
