Anemone hybr. 'Honorine Jobert' (Japanese Anemone Hybrid 'Honorine Jobert')

This hybrid Japanese anemone is a much loved addition to many a late summer and autumn garden. It is particularly valued for its graceful growing habit and its almost glowing white flowers. These flowers, with yellow stamens at their centres, seem to float above the bed or border, bringing a sense of lightness to the space.

This varietal thrives in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, and though it can tolerate full sun with sufficient water, it does particularly well in partial shade. Over time, it forms generous clumps, without needing a huge amount of your time or attention.

'Honorine Jobert' combines beautifully with other late season perennials and ornamental grasses in a range of different styles of garden. It extends seasonal interest and helps pollinators to transition into the autumn months.
