Masterwort 'Star of Billion' is prized for its crisp, white flowers each of which is surrounded by distinctive green-tipped bracts that give a star-like effect. The neat blooms are held aloft on slight stems above the attractive, mid-green foliage.

This hardy variety thrives in partial shade, though a sunny spot is also suitable as long as sufficient soil moisture is maintained. It does best in a moist and reasonable fertile soil.

Flowering from early summer into early autumn, particularly if it is deadheaded to encourage repeat flowering, it typically reaches around 50-60cm in height.
