Calluna vulgaris 'Spring Torch' lives up to its name in early spring. Growers can expect fresh new growth to be tipped in fiery cream, pink, orange and red - it looks almost like the plant is in full flower months before the real flowers arrive. The display gently fades to a calm green by summer, followed shortly by pink flowers.
