Orange New Zealand Sedge shifts from a deep green in summer to warm orange as the outside temperatures drop. This helps your garden borders undergo a noticeable change in character through the year.

This sedge performs best in a free-draining site kept free from waterlogging in winter. Open, sunny positions are preferred.

These plants are usually free from pests or diseases, except for the occasional outbreak of aphids. Removing any spent growth throughout the year can also help to refresh older clumps and keep pests at bay.
