Euonymus jap. 'Marieke' (Spindle 'Marieke')

This Japanese Spindle cultivar has indistinct flowers which appear in late spring but sit secondary to the foliage.

The broad variegated leaves present much-needed colour when mixed boundaries might look a little forlorn in the colder stretches.

This is not a difficult plant to grow. It is generally accepting of most positions and conditions in the garden, though we would recommend a regular trim to keep everything in shape.
