Geranium 'Azure Rush' is a sport of a well known cranesbill cultivar, 'Rozanne' and is more compact than its parent, growing only around 30-40cm in height and spreading gently. It has purplish blue flowers over a long period from spring into autumn.

Cranesbill 'Azure rush' is a superb hardy perennial which is valued for its soft, lavender-blue flowers, each of which are marked with delicate veining and a pale eye. Forming a tidy, spreading mound of fresh, green foliage, it reaches under 50cm in height, and spreads gently wider over time.

This cranesbill is exceptionally long-glowering, and requires minimal attention. It grows best in well drained soil in sun or light shade, and offers colour, texture and lasting performance year after year. Reliable and easy to care for, it is perfect for the front of beds or borders, or for containers.

Ideal for borders, cottage gardens and wildlife friendly planting schemes, this plant attracts bees and pollinating insects in abundance, and is a reliable nectar source for pollinators throughout the growing season.
