Key features

Lavandula sto. 'Victory' (French Lavender 'Victory')

You can expect 'Victory' to flower from late spring through summer. As an ornamental plant it works well in sunny borders, dry gravel gardens and as a container companion plant.

French Lavender typically grows into a short bushy shrub and benefits include its beautifully perfumed foliage.

Hardy through most of the UK (RHS H4 rating), French Lavender grows best in a sheltered, south, west or east-facing position. Excessive winter wet can cause losses.

Plants can be affected by rosemary beetle and froghopper (cuckoo spit). Light pruning after flowering helps prevent legginess.
