Miscanthus sin. 'Morning Light' (Eulalia 'Morning Light')

Eulalia 'Morning Light' is prized for its green and whitish-cream leaves, and for its flowering spikes, which give the plant a fountain-like form. The reddish flowers open in October and persist into the winter months for long-standing visual interest.

Like other ornamental grasses in this species, this cultivar likes a location in full sun, with reasonably fertile conditions and good drainage. It is unfussy about soil type as long as the drainage is good.

Growing to around 1.2m in height and width, this grass is appealing for its architectural form and visual interest, especially valuable in the later autumn and winter months.
