Prunus laurocerasus ‘Otto Luyken’ is a compact Cherry Laurel cultivar with a spreading habit and leaves that remain evergreen all year.

Left unchecked it should reach around ~1m in height with a spread of up to ~1.5m over time. Upright racemes of scented white flowers usually emerge in spring, followed by glossy dark fruits later in the year.

This plant grows in most soil types that are moist but well drained and grows happily in partial sunlight, with pruning recommended in late spring or early summer to help maintain a tidy form.
