Mexican feather grass 'Pony tails' may be indistinguishable from the species, though in some cases it is said to have a slightly different growth habit - a little lower and more flaccid in form but generally very similar to the species type. The plant may grow to around 60cm in height, or slightly less, and has a pleasing fountain-like form.
