Anemanthele lessoniana (Pheasant's Tail Grass)

This bunching grass has a typical green colour that transforms to warmer red and orange in the summer months; red-brown flower panicles also emerge in summertime.

Hardy across much of the UK (RHS H4 rating), it grows well in full or part sun. Exposed positions are ok provided your soil drains freely.

This variety has been given the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM) for trusty UK garden performance. It remains largely free from serious pests and diseases.
