Brunnera ‘Jack Frost’ is a deciduous, herbaceous perennial with large heart-shaped silver leaves, marked with green veining. Growers can expect small upright blue flowers in spring, which look a little like forget-me-nots.

Jack Frost grows as a spreading clump around 30-40cm tall and up to 60cm in width. It's useful for filling shaded ground beneath shrubs and trees.

The silver-tinged reflective leaves of this RHS AGM award-winning plant brightens darker planting areas through spring and summer.

This popular Siberian Bugloss cultivar performs best in cool, moisture-retentive soils and sheltered shade.

It requires little ongoing maintenance, but pruning tired leaves at the end of season can prove beneficial.
