Achillea 'Moonshine' (Yarrow 'Moonshine')

Yarrow 'Moonshine' is a well known varietal known for its vibrant yellow flowers. It grows to around 60cm tall, remaining relatively compact, and blooms over a long period.

Though tolerant of a range of soil types, this wildlife-friendly plant requires an airy, open location in full sun, and moist but free draining or free draining conditions. It can cope with a lot - but not sitting with wet roots - so heavy clay in winter is not ideal.

This is an RHS Plant for Pollinators because it is particularly effective at drawing in beneficial insects. It can be a great companion plant in a perennial section of a vegetable garden as well as working in a range of ornamental planting schemes.
