Siberian bugloss 'Betty Bowring' is a refined perennial that is noteworthy for its airy sprays of white flowers that look like forget me not blooms. Appearing in the mid to late spring, the delicate flowers rise above the mound of heart-shaped green leaves.

It thrives, like others of this species, in humus-rich soil, which is moist, and though it prefers partial shade it can also do just fine in full sun as long as the ground remains consistently damp. Hardy and low maintenance, early pollinators benefit from its spring blooms.

Growing around 45cm in height, this Brunnera is valuable more for its flowers, which bright light and softness to shady borders and woodland gardens, than its foliage.
