Ceratostigma willmottianum 'Sapphire Ring' (AKA 'Hardy Plumbago') is a small deciduous shrub that looks its best in autumntime. Its cobalt blue flowers open from late summer, just as the leaves begin to turn a fiery red. It's a rare plant in that it offers both blue and red colours together.
