Choisya ternata 'Sundance' (Mexican Orange Blossom 'Sundance')

While the straight species is grown primarily for its flowers, 'Sundance' is cherished in the garden for its year-round golden foliage.

The leaves retain their bright yellow colour most intensely in full sun, making it a strong addition to borders and well-sheltered spots.

Typically growing to 2m in height and spread, it's able to grow in almost any soil type and most positions in the sun.

Propagate by semi-hardwood cuttings and remove dead and diseased growth directly after flowering to keep the plant healthy.

Keep an eye out for glasshouse red spider mite, snails and honey fungus.
