Big-root Cranesbill 'Ingwersen's Variety' is an evergreen perennial valued for its fragrant, lobed foliage and for the clusters of soft pink flowers that it bears in the spring and early summer. The leaves release a pleasant scent when brushed and often the foliage takes on attractive reddish hues in the autumn months.

Reaching around 30-40cm in height with a generous spread, this cranesbill quickly forms dense groundcover that helps to suppress weeds. Its spreading habit makes it a good choice for banks, underplanting of shrubs, and filling in awkward spaces.

Exceptionally adaptable, this plant can thrive in full sun, partial shade, or even dry shade once established, as long as the soil is reasonably free-draining. Low maintenance and reliable, it brings year-round cover and seasonal colour in a wide range of garden settings.
