Hebe 'Mrs Winder' is a reliable evergreen shrub valued for its neat habit and vibrant spikes of rich purple flowers. It blooms very freely throughout the summer months, and the upright flower spikes create a bold splash of colour against the dark green foliage.

Growing around 60 to 90cm tall, it forms a compact, rounded mound that works well in mixed borders, coastal gardens and larger containers. The blooms also bring in bees, adding welcome wildlife interest.

Best grown in a reasonably free-draining soil in full sun or partial shade, it prefers neutral or alkaline soil conditions. Provide shelter from cold and drying winds in winter for best results.
