Liriope muscari 'Monroe White' is a refined, grass-like perennial valued for its evergreen foliage and for its elegant spikes of pure white flowers. Blooming in late summer and early autumn, the upright blooms provide an interesting, strong contrast against the dark green leaves.

Around 30 to 45cm tall, it forms dense, slowly spreading clumps that effectively form good groundcover beneath trees and shrubs or along shaded pathways.

This perennial thrives in a moist but free-draining, acidic or neutral soil in partial or full shade. It is an easy choice for a low-maintenance garden - just water well during dry spells and cut back in spring to encourage fresh growth.
