Hylotelephium × mottramianum 'Herbstfreude' is also known as Sedum 'Autumn Joy'. It is a dependable perennial with fleshy, green leaves and large heads of rosy pink flowers. In bloom from late summer into autumn, it is wonderful for a pollinator-friendly garden.

This is a reliable perennial that is prized for its broad, fleshy green leaves and generous, flat flower heads. Emerging pale pink in late summer, the blooms gradually deepen to rich rose and almost coppery tones as autumn progresses.

Growing to around 45 to 60cm in height, it forms sturdy, upright clumps that hold their shape well and provide strong structure in mixed borders. The nectar rich flowers are beloved of bees and other pollinating insects, keeping the garden alive as colder weather fast. approaches.
